Rincon Power expands its chassis-mount series with the 250 A RXC15 contactor

First page of the press release: Rincon Power expands its chassis-mount series with the 250 A RXC15 contactor

Carpinteria, California, May 1, 2023 – Rincon Power is pleased to announce the expansion of the chassis-mount series with the introduction of the new RXC15 contactor. This ceramically-sealed contactor offers the ability to isolate high voltage systems in a compact and robust package. Designed and assembled in Carpinteria, California, the 250 amp RXC15 joins Rincon Power’s expanding portfolio of hermetically sealed, high voltage contactors and manual disconnect switches.

The RXC15 offers 250 amps of continuous duty for applications up to 1,000 VDC. The single pole, single throw (SPST) relay features optional auxiliary contacts which can be used as part of a high voltage safety circuit, for status feedback, or for weld detection. The RXC15 features industry-leading low contact resistance ensuring minimal heat generation and low loss. The hermetic seal allows the unit to be operated in virtually any environment and minimizes contact oxidation over the life of the switch. The contactor can be installed in any orientation, even upside-down, providing maximum installation flexibility. Complete specifications and more info can be found at www.rinconpower.com/products.

“The RXC15 is ideal for those seeking high performance in a small package. It’s a drop-in replacement for customers seeking alternative suppliers to improve their supply chain. The chassis-mount terminals make it easy for bus bars connections or for routing large diameter cables. There’s also a PCB version available for those seeking an even more compact solution. The generous over-current capability make this a perfect choice for medium-duty loads with high inrush without oversizing the contactor.”
