R25 series high voltage relays are an enhanced version of the R8 series, featuring specially designed baffles within the arc chamber and a smaller movable contact for improved isolation. Rated for systems up to 25kV, the R25 can continuously carry 18 amps. Like the R8, it also incorporates molybdenum/tungsten contacts, ensuring superior make and break load switching performance. The Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) configuration provides design flexibility by incorporating both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contact sets within a single relay. Continuity transfers between the contact sets when the coil is powered on or off.
