High voltage relay
RH3 Series
RH3 series high voltage relays are a variant of the RH1, featuring the same ultra-compact capsule style form factor and 3.5 kV voltage rating but with molybdenum/tungsten contacts for limited make and break load switching. The RH3 handles hot switching better than the RH1, but its higher contact resistance results in a reduced 18 amp continuous current carry rating, so the RH1 is the better choice for carry only use. The Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) configuration provides design flexibility by incorporating both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contact sets within a single relay. Continuity transfers between the contact sets when the coil is powered on or off.
